Frederick Abberline is a police officer in London in the year 1888.
His sergeant Peter Godly tells him they have a case.
Somebody is going around killing prostitutes.
Abberline loves women very much.
So he would like to try and stop this bloke.
And Mary Kelly here is a fine Irish example of the female half of the humans race.
But prostitutes unfortunately HAS TO walk the streets whether or not there is a killer out there ...
If they donīt earn enough money to satisfied the pimps there is trouble to be had ...
Thatīs means they sometimes have to sleep
sitting upright held in place by a rope -
but at least there are safety in numbers.
Abberline is trying to see if he can find
similare cases in the police files.
Hush! The genius is thinking!! He ;-D
Maybe some creature comforts will aid the thinking process ...
And the rest of us enjoy the sight ;-)
Absinth - laudunum ... Really, Mr. Abberline ... But o.k.
If it can help catch Jack the Ripper I for one is all for it :-)
Mary Kelly is starting to like - if not love - this a bit strange cop. Maybe he loves her too?
He does :-D And Mary kisses her copper ;-)
"Behind every great man (relatively speaking - sorry, Freddy ;-) ) stands a equally great woman"
But Jack the Ripper is still out there killing the poor women of London ...
And leaving strange clues. The leftover stilks of a bunch of grapes?
Even with a killer on the loose there is still room for a bit of friendliness.
Kelly and Abberline visits her friend in the lunatic asylum - she has been lobotomized and canīt remember a thing ...
But Mary Kelly recognizes her friendīs lover on a painting at a posh museum.
As Abberline thought she might.
A friendly retired surgeon shows Abberline the "tools" he think the Ripper is using.
Please be careful with sharp things, little Freddy ... :-)
Some men abducts Abberline. He is clearly getting too close to the truth. But although our Freddy gets free again, he still wonders ...
Does this old gent know more than he is telling.
And most importantly of all can Abberline find out who the Ripper is before it is too late?
